Tap Warranty
The taps being sold on our website come with a 5-year warranty from the date of sale regardless of when they were installed. Please use the contact form on the website footer to contact us if something is not right.
The five year warranty does not mean the tap can be exchanged for another within the five year period should a fault occur; it means parts will be provided and sent free of charge along with instructions on how to change the faulty part. Once the five year warranty has expired, we will place you in contact with another company that can provide the parts required. In some instances when sending free replacement parts an Allen Key may be provided as this is the primary tool to remove body parts to gain access to the working parts which may have failed.
If goods are found to be faulty after initial installation, depending on the fault, we reserve the right to send out parts to rectify the problem. Any costs that may be incurred for the fitting of the replacement parts which the customer would like reimbursing, must be preapproved by Water2taps before work is undertaken. Relevant paperwork/invoices must be sent to Water2taps before any payments/credits will be applied.
Our products are serviceable items, and we will always endeavor to fix an issue with parts before a replacement tap is considered. Leaks, drips and another typical tap faults can always be remedied with the tap in situ, the tap does not need to be removed. It is very rare that the tap will need to be uninstalled to rectify faults, plus the taps have been specifically designed so that a relatively competent end user can undertake the work with basic tools.
Acceptance of these terms are confirmed at the point a purchase is made from our Water2taps website.
